On Friday, Oct. 13th at 6:30pm — Please join us for an evening geared towards community awareness and safety. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will be giving presentations to our community on the following topics:

• Community Awareness Briefing (CAB) – a training for community members — including leaders, youth leaders, teachers, and parents — on how violent extremist groups recruit using social media and how to protect ourselves and our kids from it.
• Internet Safety Briefing – covering bullying, child predators, cyber bullying, gangs, etc.

Both presentations are kid-friendly and you are encouraged to bring your whole family as everyone can and will benefit from these presentations inshaAllah. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
